Art Exhibitions and Artistic Works on display Florence

Art Exhibitions

Guests arriving at the Borghese Palace Art Hotel are greeted by six massive 3-metre-high statues, carved out of huge blocks of bright white Carrara marble. Standing tall below the foyer's high-vaulted ceilings, the statues are part of the hotel's permanent art collection and have become its hallmark, referencing as they do the hotel's melding of modernity with tradition.

All of the Borghese Palace's public and private rooms have been conceived not as static spaces but as areas open to Florence's busy city life. The result is a unique atmosphere that combines the Tuscan capital's long-standing passion for classical art with the latest trends in modern art.

Every month, the hotel hosts a new exhibition of contemporary art: paintings, statues, installations and works by internationally-acclaimed artists are on show in the 300 m² open space foyer, from which the large, central, glassed-in elevate rises; in the internal courtyard; in the breakfast room, and along the corridors.
